DQYDJP and My Gallery NYC present ART FOR ALL
[Brooklyn, NY] Hannah Soule Powderly of DQYDJP will present ART FOR ALL at My Gallery NYC, 587 Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238 on July 1, 2022 featuring fifteen fine artists, including Montgomery Maxton and Norman Korpi.
Artist Montgomery Maxton is an American photographer, artist, and writer. For the last 25 years he has captured imaginations in spellbinding photographs and writings. Published repeatedly by National Geographic, including his 2008 portrait of President Barack Obama, and having appeared in Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine, his most recent short story, Tiffany, reached #1 on Amazon's LGBTQ+ Short Reads and received universal critical acclaim. His debut novel, Moonlight on the Sunshine Roses, will be published later this year. This is the first time Montgomery Maxton will be showing any of his work in New York City, exclusively at My Gallery NYC.
Artist Norman Korpi, is a MTV’s The Real World, Season 1 castmate and graduate of Cooper Union, as well as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Norman has designed for the Guggenheim Museum, the ICA Museum in Boston, and The Pierpont Morgan Collection in New York. Norman's “Chocolate Rabbits”series featured on Paramount + and his new nature based series are innovative and refreshing and will be available in person only at My Gallery NYC.
This is an immersive experience where guests will meet with the artists and all works are available for purchase. Champagne opening reception will be on July 1 from 5-8 pm at the gallery.
